Their number just increased by a score of first grade children in an elementary school in Connecticut.

A sweet, even beatific, notion, I suppose.

So why, then, am I having so much difficulty dealing with it?

I wonder.

But as a grandfather (3 times, and soon a 4th) . . .

I do not wonder very much.
