Keeping it up near the top for me, as a wholly useless reminder that I'm not here this week.

So, see: I'm not out of sorts at all.

Here's the plan:

(a) Take Bill Whittle's piece and move it to the top of the page, so to speak.

Done.

(b) Post a second Bill Whittle piece - he's an unidentified narrator of the drawing piece, but who could mistake that voice? - to top off the page for now, and still so to speak.

(c) Do what most of America seems to be doing in the week to come - with the 4th awkwardly coming smack dab in the middle of the week - and take the whole week off, including this weekend and next, so that the next non-leisure voice we hear will come on July 9.

Simple . . .
