I meant well.

I was determined to get to my work, freed up from my writing here, and so I eliminated my distractions to get something done over there, where the serious stuff is.

Ah, but no sooner had I done that than the window screen installation guys appeared on the scene, and we've been waiting months for them, so . . .

And then the tape on the camcorder keeping time lapse track of the mural project across the way had to be replaced.

It was past lunch time, and leftovers were calling from the fridge.

My best laid plans thus frustrated, and waiting for the host of visitors to my realm to get their doings done, I decided that I might as well write some more.

And so I have.

A mulligan taken on the self-proclaimed hiatus, then.

But now I'm done.
