Two lovely birthday gifts for me online this morning, neither intended just for me - not the nature of the online beast; it's where we share - but both accepted personally all the same.
Definitely rising, and bigger than most. I like the solitary look of the man in the skiff, greeting the moon on the rise, but I am far from alone this day, or for that matter, any other day. I am blessed to live with the Love of My Life; I am blessed with family unto three generations; and of course I have friends, here and there. No man could - and this man never would - ask for more.
And then, also courtesy of the comely Ms. Zoe, this:
Now we're talking some worthy gamesmanship.
Except that it is lacking a vital third dimension, so that it could be played vertically as well as horizontally.
So strike that last observation; apparently this old man can and does sometimes ask for more.
And more than he could possibly chew . . .
Too.
Oh well, so it goes.
As do I.
