Blackfive is concerned about the kind of welcome returning military people will encounter as they go to college in the days immediately ahead:

As college students hit campuses across the nation this week, a new generation of young veterans will step off the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan and onto the ideological battlefield of our university campuses. For those on the frontline in the war on terror, the antiwar hostility of liberal professors and campus activists will assuredly prove unsettling.

I'm a long way from campus life, but I have to wonder:

Unsettling for whom?

Could it not be that the presence of these young veterans will confront the other students with the reality of war that they otherwise would not know?

If their only knowledge of it comes from the classroom?
